Women desire them, damned if I know why!
Trust, honesty, commitment... in a man,
A lone coin standing on edge
among many tossed is easier found.
I know they come with penis attached,
fitting oh so well in your most coveted of orifices.
They ride herd over your waves of pleasure,
focused only on their own desires for self-gratification.
Communicate with them if you dare,
Hear about their obsessions related to balls of all kinds.
There's foot and basket and base and golf, ... and my two.
I wonder how the car escaped this world of the round.
Armed only with a memory testicular in size,
they come knocking at your door with sperm on their mind.
You waiting, hoping for the miracle of flowers and foreplay,
receive instead the unwanted gift of beer breath and groping hands.
Once, just once, you wish they knew how a period, a pregnancy felt.
The displeasure's of one, the pleasures and pains of the other.
But they never will and you know why don't you?...
because you can't communicate with them, it simply does not compute.
And you wonder most of all why, why is it every time
you need an emotional response from them to affirm they care;
you receive instead "their" logical response to your emotional needs,
questioning why they need to respond to you at all.
And I see the questions in your eyes that wonder how!
How can I, a man know these things that exist in your mind.
You see all too many times my life has revolved around
these penis toting, emotionally stagnant human beings.
They have dictated the paths before me,
They have anointed my mind with ignorance.
Yet I have overcome them all, and how did I do that?
I stopped knowing how to take and started learning how to give.
