"My Daughter"

I never knew how much I loved her until an accident almost took her life; Although the worst didn't happen... tragic memories still make me cry. 

Oh, I know she's not perfect, it's obvious neither am I; so I don't criticize or control her,  I just continue to love her all the while. 

Although she often tries my patience when she chooses to defy, I also know her heart can be as gracious as the softness of her smile.

I don't know how long we'll be together as days and years go by; I just know I'll love her and that my love will never die...
