The Dream: Feeling your warm body through the gown you're wearing I run my hands beneath your shirt and feel the softness  of your body. I slide my right arm around you until it drapes across your stomach. Gently spreading my fingers against your side I rest my arm just below your breast.

You move your body closer pressing it against mine. Your head leans forward, then slowly drops until your cheek is resting on my shoulder. Unable to resist your mouth being so close to mine I lean down and press my lips to yours.

I gently open my mouth and feel the warmth of your breath flicker rapidly across my tongue. I let my mouth rotate in gentle circles then slowly I move my lips softly across your face until my cheek touches yours. I linger there for a few moments then again allow your head to rest against my shoulder.

Taking my free hand I search for yours until I find it resting above your head. I entwine your fingers with mine until our hands become one. We lay there silently for hours engaged in subliminal bliss.

 Reality: Then as quickly as it came the dream fades away and reality once again appears leaving only fading thoughts of what surely will come.
