"Chapter  One"

Life as I read it is an unfinished book, each chapter
like a highway stretching over the horizon
toward unknown junctions and crossroads, allowing
each of us to journey onward taking our own chosen paths.

In traveling down life's highways I choose
to drive often times hard and fast, always from dawn till dusk;
each night longing for the perfect stranger
to permanently share that ride from coast to coast.

Selecting a vehicle I climb inside, foot pressing the pedal
I set a speed to travel, moving forward
the search begins for a passenger
to occupy that empty seat at my side.

I remember that first test drive, the speedometer residing eagerly
on the low side of 35. She innocent, I unafraid and daring, together
our hearts seeking, caring until unrehearsed unreleased
passion entwined us in perfect time.

Not seated in a red sports car did I reside, in a white convertible I
did ride, feeling the sun, the wind, the rain upon my face.
Not caring where I was going...doing, always I was thinking of
screwing, jealously wanting her presence locked securely by my side.

The ride was way too quick, the door closed in just one tick,
and as dusk settled on the horizon she said goodbye.
I, never seeing her cry, watched her figure disappear against a soft
blue sky, me never understanding how our newborn passion could so quickly die.

Often times closing my eyes as the sun sets, my gaze returning to
past events, I focus on our ride, where passions fury first began to
take flight. Graphic memories of her still abide ... her budding
breasts, her tasty succulent lips, her fiery young thighs...
